Leslie Pantín

In 2000, Leslie Pantín became president of Pantín / Beber Silverstein Public Relations; a strategic alliance between the Pantín Partnership, founded in 1988, and Beber Silverstein Group. The partnership led to the agency representing some of the biggest brands in the world such as Ford Motor Company, American Airlines, Merrill Lynch and Univision, among others. In 2014, Pantín celebrated 25 years of representing McDonald’s of South Florida; an unusual feat in an ever-changing industry.
A member of the Counselors Academy of the Public Relations Society of America – consisting of just 1,000 professionals from around the world – Pantín has been acknowledged for his ground-breaking public relations efforts for decades. In 1988, the Miami Herald indentified Pantín as one of the 18 private citizens who have shaped Miami, and in 1993 as one of the 100 people to shape the history of South Florida as well as being one of only seven individuals awards the Spirit of Excellence in 1998 by the publication. In 2012, The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce honored Pantín with The Salute to Miami’s Leaders while in 2014 he was honored by his peers with the Miami chapter of the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) highest award: 2014 Bill Adams PRSA Lifetime Achievement Award.
