PGT WinGuard Windows

The start of hurricane season reminds us of the dangers of hurricanes. And the hassles of preparing for an impending hurricane. "Should I cover my windows? Might it hit?"  We developed this "Plywood" campaign for PGT impact resistant windows and doors after watching everyone scramble to cover their windows as a hurricane approaches. And seeing the fun and often clever messages homeowners sprayed on the plywood.

The campaign emphasizes the hardship of having to cover your windows with plywood or shutters in the event of a hurricane. And the beauty of a house that has PGT windows. Other media also used spray-painted messages ( "emotional truths") on plywood, including plywood direct mail postcards.

 :60 Walkthrough TV Spot

There are two kinds of homes in Florida: those without impact-resistant windows and doors…and those with them. So when a hurricane approaches, some homeowners have to Measure. Saw. Hoist. Hold. Drill. Nail. Bolt. While others simply…Close. Click.

PGT Innovations' family of brands,

CGI Commercial, CGI, PGT and WinDoor impact-resistant windows and doors make hurricane preparation…effortless.

:60 Community TV Spot

Immediately after Hurricane Irma made landfall in SW Florida -- PGT Innovations' home base-- PGTI set their hurricane recovery plan in place and immediately reached out to their employees and dealers to ensure everyone was okay, and then to ask what they needed.

BSG documented much of this effort and created a long-form video, and a :60 TV spot to demonstrate PGTI's care for the communities they serve, and how that caring extends to the impact-resistant window and door products they make to help protect people and their investments.

This commercial tested off the charts. Stacked against over 3000+ pieces of media hands down it rated the HIGHEST this national research company has ever seen before. 100 out of 100!
